Another Trip

You know you're not single anymore...when you have to drive your son back to the store where you got his glasses which is two hours away because the glasses just don't fit right...You figure you might be able to start a shuttle bus service from your home just to pay for the gas you will incur...You are glad to have your son see well, but you do wish this issue could have been taken care of when you were at the store the first time...At least you'll have another good Saturday to spend with your son.

Public School

You know you're not single anymore...when your son has his last day of home school and tomorrow he will go to school with you to meet his new public school teachers...You realize you've done the unthinkable...you've convinced a home schooled child that public school can be a good thing...You've even got him a little bit excited to go next week...You now have two children riding into school with you as you go to work...You just know that the drive in and home will never be the same...Then you think of your wife who has the home to herself...and the parties she will have each day!

Bathtub Jets

You know you're not single anymore...when you decide to clean out the jets in your bathtub before you attempt to take a relaxing bath...You remember that you only took showers when you were single so you figure this is a rare treat...Except when you get in the bath you forgot that you had cleaned the jets and moved the nozzles to point upwards...so when you turn on the jets, you immediately notice five foot streams of water crisscrossing in all sorts of ways out of the bath...You can't get to the off button fast enough so you try to block the water with your hands which does not work as well as you thought it would...You notice that water is impressively hitting your bathroom mirror 7 feet away and you wonder if you could advertise the powerful jets in your new house for sale notices...Finally you cut off the jets to see that you've found a new way to clean the bathroom floors quickly without a broom or mop...So you decide that might be the last time you take a relaxing bath...at least you are glad your wife was not sitting at the bathroom vanity getting an unexpected shower!

House Offer

You know you're not single anymore...when your house has an offer on it after being on the market for one hour...You think, "hmmmm, well there's something you don't see every day!"...In either case, you feel that the timing to sell may be right and maybe you need to start looking for another home soon...ironically you've just finally finished unpacking from the last move!

For Sale

You know you're not single anymore...when you consider putting your house on the market to eventually move to another state so that your daughter can get in-state tuition and scholarships for her future college years...You figure you will win in the long-run for what you will save on her education...In fact every dollar saved goes to your retirement vacation fund...You can already hear the waves crashing on the Hawaiian beaches now...Meanwhile, you remember you have another child going to college three years later and you figure you'll retire when you are 80!
