Waffle House Again

You know you're not single anymore....when your son asks you to take him to Waffle House when he wakes up on a lazy Saturday morning... You realize it's been a while since the two of you have been to Waffle House since the big move and the craziness of summer...You know your son will get his usual request: waffle with chocolate chips...You will stick with a regular waffle with syrup...You'll talk football and the general stuff that 12 year old boys will like to talk about....Meanwhile, your daughter is not jealous because she knows she has a father-daughter Starbucks date coming up next week (and plus today she gets to spend time with her mother)!

Storage Building

You know you're not single anymore...when your old stuff from your old life is finally moved out of the garage into the local storage building...You know this is the eventual process of saying goodbye to your old stuff...No, your wife is not getting rid of your stuff...you just know it's got to go through the out of sight-out of mind stage before you can finally let it go...You also know that the day of reckoning will come when you get tired of paying the storage rental fee!

Walmart Run

You know you're not single anymore....when you have to run to Walmart for your daughter's science project...at the last minute...Oh my, you remember those days back when you were a kid and had to do a project for your teachers...But now, payback has come...And no matter when the project is due, you think that Walmart will always be involved the night before!

Toner

You know you're not single anymore...when the toner on your home printer disappears faster than a package of toilet paper...You used to conserve toner and make it stretch out for at least a year...Now you wonder if your kids are secretly running an underground newspaper with the amount that they print...You also never thought that toner would be on the family budget!...You wonder if you should bring out your old dot matrix printer to conserve on ink!
