Showers

You know you're not single anymore...when you are informed by your wife that you take long showers...Personally, you feel like your showers are a reasonable length...and besides you are usually the first one out of bed so you have to let the shower water warm up...But apparently you are being too slow getting ready in the mornings...Of course, you've never had to have someone wait on you to finish your shower so that they can get ready....At least you are glad you've got two bathroom sinks so that you don't have to wait on each other to brush your teeth!

Back To School Shopping

You know you're not single anymore...when back to school shopping takes on a whole new meaning...Your daughter who now is in public high school must have the perfect first day outfit...While your son who is still home-schooled requests only the finest school supplies from Staples rather than from Walmart...You now realize the tax free holiday is a blessing well worth waiting for!...Besides, your son's growth spurts are about to cause a brand new shopping spree for just a new wardrobe!

Driver's Ed part 2

You know you're not single anymore...when you get to ride the passenger seat of your truck for at least 60 hours while your daughter gets her driving time in...You realize you really can't relax because you're making sure she isn't relaxing (too much) when she drives...You have found yourself trying to push the pretend brake on the passenger side several times as we approach a light...You think you might need some blood pressure medicine before this year is over!

School Paperwork

You know you're not single anymore...when you have to fill out 20 pages of paperwork for your daughter who now attends public schools...You realize that the Congressional Paper Reduction Act must not apply to your local school because most of the forms are redundant and could have been consolidated to three pages...You are just glad you're not in school anymore for all the issues of permission and legal issues that you have to sign away.
