New Dog Owner

You know you're not single anymore....when you come home from vacation and your dog whom you have had for 12 years and taken care of through thick and thin wags his tail and then heads straight for your son...you realize that you've unofficially transferred ownership of your dog to him...your son has told you several times before he's always wanted a dog but could not have one until now...even that night when you tuck your son in bed, your dog is now in his new sleeping place right there in his room...you realize you couldn't have wished for a better person to care for your ol' buddy.

Vacation

You know you're not single anymore...when you go on vacation...wait, you went on a vacation? You don't even remember the last time you were on vacation!...moving on...when you go on a vacation and you realize the greatest invention ever is the portable DVD player...a 6 hour car ride with two kids, no matter how old they are, cannot be accomplished with sanity without a movie marathon...for once you are grateful that the "Free Willy" franchise made 4 movies.
