Guys Time

You know you're not single anymore...when your wife and daughter go to the store around lunch time and instead of eating leftovers, you and your son realize you have a little "guys time" and go pick up a pizza and some IBC rootbeer for lunch...you and your son have grown close over the last year and you seem to always talk about the next "guys time" you will have when the "girls" are not home...your son has even talked about his "bucket list" of things he wants to do with you before he goes off to college in five years...You start to realize that the man he's turning into may one day be one of your best friends several years from now.

T-Shirts

You know you're not single anymore...when your wife gently suggests that you need to wear t-shirts under your shirts every day...At first you think she's trying to keep you up with the current trends and styles but she slowly nods her head in disagreement...and then you jokingly ask if your muscles and abs are showing through and making others jealous...she again gently says that something _is_ showing through your shirt...you then realize you have reached the age where the true contours of your chest are exposed and not in the most flattering way!...You wonder how long this has happened...Your wife says she was trying to subtly give you the hint when she would pack t-shirts with your clothes when we went on trips...Instead, you just thought she was just trying to encourage you to dress in layers to keep warm...I guess some things she just has to be a little more blunt with you...You are indeed thankful you have a wife who keeps you looking your best without any potential public embarrassment!
