Christmas Lights

You know you're not single anymore...when your son insists that you put up exterior Christmas lights...You find yourself this evening on the roof with your son who is wearing a headlamp so that you both can see...You realize quickly that your body was not designed to be on the roof of your house...Yet you persevere and you have a nice string of lights that wrap around the front porch...Your son says that next year we should do the highest apex of the roof line with lights...You hope that he forgets he said that this year!

Christmas Decorations

You know you're not single anymore...when you actually have Christmas decorations and a tree up at your house...You used to never decorate your house because you spent more time away from home at the holidays than there...But now you are a part of a Christmas tradition...hot chocolate, the Polar Express, your son insisting that he put up the tree, etc...you enjoyed watching the lighting of the grand tree in your den...and now you find out your role is to put up the exterior lights...
