Childhood stories

You know you're not single anymore...when your mother shares stories to your wife about you and your family you never knew while growing up...You realize a lot went on that you were totally oblivious to in your childhood...You are starting to think your wife may know more about your childhood than you ever shared with her...It's not that you have any secrets, but rather you either forgot or never noticed the things your mom is sharing...Yet, in the end, you're happy that your mom and your wife have a close relationship!

Football

You know you're not single anymore...when the first thing you do after coming home from work is change your clothes so that you can throw the football with your son...You never really played football when you were a kid so you get by with the basics of throwing and catching...Yet you enjoy watching him play every Saturday afternoon and the extra time you spend with him as he practices...You especially feel a sense of pride when you hear his name called out on the speakers at the beginning of the game...You realize you are going to spend many hours on the football field in the next 6 years! You wonder if there's a seasons discount for attending every game, too!

Extra Work

You know you're not single anymore....when you find extra jobs to work to provide a little extra spending money for the family...You realize you have become the go-to person for every after school program and tutoring activity...You usually work extra since you have to wait after school for your daughter to finish softball practice anyway...but now you have the extra cash to take her to Starbucks or your son to Waffle House...or saving up for your anniversary trip with your wife.
