Your son's dog

You know you're not single anymore...when your dog whines randomly when your son is not home...Yet again you realize your dog is not yours anymore...He even goes up to your son's room and waits for him to come home...You know your dog still has a fondness for you, but he is definitely changed his attachment to your boy....and you know your son who has always wanted a dog but never could have one before is loving every moment of it!

Broken Washing Machine

You know you're not single anymore...when your washing machine quits working...You think it might be because of overuse, since the machine is on every day for at least one maybe two loads...But after seeing how much it costs to get a repair man to look at it, you decide to try to fix it yourself...You learn all sorts of tricks to how to take apart a washing machine and how to figure out where the problem is...You finally find your daughter's sock has somehow clogged the pump...You now know that you have finally seen the inside of your washing machine and you have a feeling this will not be the last time!

Math Tutor

You know you're not single anymore...when you find yourself teaching math every waking moment of the day...Your kids take full advantage that you are a math teacher and you have been their personal tutor since the day you met them...Of course you dream of the day your kids take their math knowledge with them to college, graduate, get a job, and eventually send you and your wife to Hawaii when you retire....Of course, you can always dream!

Burning Wood

You know you're not single anymore...when your son wants to build a fire to burn brush in your yard...You've always taken brush and thrown it in the woods in your backyard but now you live in an open area...You get the necessary burn permits...and then you watch him light a fire...You know that every pre-teen is a pyromaniac at heart!...You do enjoy the smell of burning wood in the fall and you're glad the stack of brush will be gone soon!
